ALBANY GOLD Davenport & Sullivan Silver Service 62 Piece Canteen of Cutlery Set
With this set not only will you be adding style to your dining table, but also making sure you are prepared for every eventuality. All pieces are stamped on the underside of the handle of the spoons and forks with the EPNS A1 SHEFFIELD ENGLAND mark and on the blades with the DAVENPORT & SULLIVAN SHEFFIELD LONDON DUBLIN mark. All knives have superior quality silver plated hollow handles that are attached to stainless Sheffield steel blades. This is a lovely vintage set of cutlery that has some marks and wear from the normal signs of use. The cutlery cabinet is made by Arthur Price and is in lovely condition just needing its knife rack securing back into place but as per the photos but has done a super job looking after its contents and has space to store a further six place settings. Checking through the set I note two teaspoons don’t have gold plate on the handles and are replacements in the same Albany pattern for pieces that have gone missing over the years.
